Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Overview

Hour Mark is built with privacy as a core principle. Your time-tracking data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal activity logs to any server.

Data We Do Not Collect

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using Hive, an on-device database. When you create a backup, the file is saved to a location you choose (e.g., Files, iCloud). We never have access to these backups.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are handled entirely through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We receive anonymous subscription status information (active, expired, etc.) but no personal billing details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Notifications

Hour Mark uses local notifications to remind you to log your time. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.

Analytics

Hour Mark uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature interactions. This data is completely separated from any user identity and is used solely to improve the app. We do not link analytics data to individual users, and no personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

No advertising SDKs are included in the app.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your data as a CSV file or a full backup at any time from Settings. To delete your data, simply delete the app — since nothing is stored on our servers, deletion is immediate and complete.

Children's Privacy

Hour Mark is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
